To begin with the Merapi Sunrise Tour, you will be picked up at your hotel in Yogyakarta and driven directly to Merapi Jeep Basecamp. Experience the awe-inspiring beauty of dawn atop Mount Merapi with our Merapi Jeep Sunrise Tour. Set off before daybreak in rugged 4×4 jeeps, traversing the volcanic terrain as the first light breaks. At the summit, witness the sky ablaze with vibrant hues as the sun ascends over the rugged landscape, casting a golden glow over the valleys below.
After enjoying Merapi Sunrise, you will be taken to Jomblang cave to witness the celestial radiance that graces the depths of this unique place. Prepare yourself by putting on your rappelling harness, then descend vertically into the cave for a new and exciting feeling. Traverse a 270-meter journey through the dark, muddy tunnel until you reach the point where sunlight gracefully pierces the cave from above and you will certainly marvel at this sight. After your daring abseiling escapade, you can recharge and savor a well-deserved lunch. After your culinary adventure you may continue your tour towards Pindul cave, oya river and take in its beautiful azure deep waters and monumental caves.
Next destination, you will be driven to Pindul Cave, oya river. Pindul and Oya river is a combined activity of rafting and caving by using a rubber tube (tries float up). Goa Pindul is a cave that becomes part of the team of seven caves with Underground River streaming within. It lies in a village called Bejoharjo, Karangmojo, Gunungkidul. This tourist destination dveveloped by Government Tourism Office and local communities.
The length of Goa Pindul is 300 meters with a width of 5 meters and the distance of the water surface with the cave roof around 4 meters. The still water flow makes it except for everyone, not only adults however additionally children. Besides that, the tourists get a historical story of Goa Pindul during cave tubing.
When you are finished with cave and water tour, you will be dropped off at your accommodation. End of service.

- 03:30 am – 04:00 am: Pick-up at your hotel in Yogyakarta (City area)
- 04:00 am – 05:00 am: Drive directly to Jeep Basecamp.
- 05:00 am – 07:00 am: Arrive in Jeep basecamp and then prepare Merapi Jeep Sunrise.
- 07:00 am – 09:30 am: Drive directly to Jomblang Cave.
- 09:30 am – 10:00 am: Resting and prepare for the caving equipment.
- 10:00 am – 12:00 pm: Start the journey, rappeling down into the Jomblang cave then enjoy the heaven light
- 12:00 pm – 13:00 pm: Get your simple lunch at Jomblang Basecamp.
- 13:00 pm – 13:40 pm: Drive to Pindul Cave.
- 13:40 pm – 15:00 pm: Pindul Cave Tubing tour.
- 15:00 pm – 16:00 pm: transfer back hotel in yogyakarta (End of service).

- We are so flexible with the payment. We could accept cash, bank transfer or PayPal.

- Hotel pick up and drop off are available within Yogyakarta Region or in radius 20 KM from city centre
- Hotel pick up and drop off from outside Yogyakarta Region are considered as additional service
- Airport Pick Up or drop off (Yogyakarta Airport) is considered as an additional service.
- You may stop for meals; suggestion a local food that you might try. The meals expenses are not included on the tour.

- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
