Tour Description
To start with fresh morning, you will be picked up at the hotel around 03.30 in the morning and then continued to drive direct to the viewpoint called, Setumbu HILL. Setumbu Hill is the name of a hill located about 4 km west of Borobudur temple. It is one of the best spots to watch the Borobudur sunrise from an altitude of 400 m above sea level. The warmth of the sun in the morning reveals the fog blanket that covers Borobudur Temple and wakes it from its place.
After enjoying Sunrise, you will be driven to travel to Selogriyo Temple. It is one of the historical relics from the Hindu era in Central Java, and despite its relatively small size, this temple has significant historical and architectural value. The temple is an ancient site located in Windusari District, Magelang Regency, Central Java. It offers a unique and immersive tourist experience with its typical Hindu architecture and tranquil location on a hillside, Selogriyo Temple was built in the 8th to 9th centuries AD, during the period of the Ancient Mataram Kingdom, which was one of the largest Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms in Java at that time.
Next destination, you will be taken to visit the temple called Borobudur. The temple Compounds consists of three monuments: namely the Borobudur Temple and two smaller temples situatued to the east on a straight axis to Borobudur. The two temples are Mendhut Temple, whose depiction of Buddha is represented by a formidable monolith accompanied by two Bodhisattvas, and Pawon Temple, a smaller temple whose inner space does not reveal which deity might have been the object of worship. Those three monuments represent phases in the attainment of Nirvana.
So, when you are finished with Borobudur, you will be transferred back to Hotel in Jogjakarta. End of service.

- 03:45 AM – 04:45 AM: Hotel pick-up (Yogyakarta area) and drive to Punthuk Setumbu Hill
- 04:45 AM – 05.00 AM: Hike up to Punthuk Setumbu Hill
- 05:00 AM – 06:00 AM: Witness the stunning sunrise over Borobudur Temple via Punthuk Setumbu Hill
- 06:00 AM – 07:00 AM: Proceed to Selogriyo Temple and having breakfast along the way
- 07.00 AM– 09.00 AM: Enjoy trekking moment in Selogriyo Temple, see the rice field terrace along the trekking route
- 09:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Proceed to Borobudur Temple
- 10.30 AM – 12.30 PM: Enter and climb up Borobudur Temple into the top level and learn its great history explained by the local guide
- 12.30 PM – 14.00 PM: Transfer Back to hotel in Yogyakarta

- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
