BOROBUDUR CLIMB UP & ANDONG (HORSE-CART ) TOUR SURROUNDING VILLAGE
Morning is the best time to enjoy the beauty of Borobudur and experience the peacefulness during the cool morning hours before other tourists arrive. Spend approximately two and half hours at the temple which will allow you enough time to appreciate it. And the next trip you will be taken to have horse-cart (Andhong) tour activities surrounding the village.

TOUR DESCRIPTION:
In the morning you will be picked up at your hotel or accommodation and driven direct to UNESCO world heritage, Borobudur temple. It takes one and half hour to reach the temple. Borobudur is not only a sheer building. If you are at the Borobudur should not just see a pile of stones and reliefs. There are still many flips side which can be learned from Borobudur. Spending more time to explore natural life of people in the surrounding and nearby villages. There you would gain the social and cultural values that exists and be well preserved.
This tour brings you traveling around villages by local transportation called Andhong or horse-cart. Along the the trip can be seen beautiful sceneries and rural living. Planting of the rice paddies, grinding rice, making tofu, making various craft such as pottery, bamboo, making pottery and other activities you need to know. To complete your educational content along the tour, a local guide needed during this tour. Indonesia, especially in Java, has traditional land transportation that look really unique called ANDHONG.
The Local people use it for its transportation from one place to another or from one village to another. Andhong is a carriage drawn by one or two horses. It is very popular and used in every rural village or small town in Java. Enjoy this traditional way of moving around the villages and discover how beautiful it is to move at a Slow Pace. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to hotel in Yogyakarta. End of service.

- 06.45 – 07.00 am -> Pick up at Hotel (Yogyakarta area)
- 07.00 – 08.30 am -> Drive directly to Borobudur.
- 08.30 – 11.00 am -> Visit & enjoy the temple.
- 11.00 – 11.30 am -> Meet the horse cart tour guide at the meeting point.
- 11.30 – 13.00 pm -> Start horse cart tour and do activities during tours.
- 13.00 – 14.00 pm -> Have lunch by your own before going back to hotel (optional)
- 14.00 – 15.30 pm -> Drop off Hotel in Yogyakarta. End of Service

- The temple visit is possible to be reversed Horse-cart tour activities at the beginning, and Borobudur at the end.

- Tour is conducted as a private tour—departure and return in Yogyakarta city
- We are so flexible with the payment. We could accept cash, bank transfer or PayPal.
- We could receive cash in USD, IDR, EUR, GBP, CNY, SGD, etc. All bank notes must be in good condition.
- For payment via PayPal we require additional 5% due to low conversion rate.
- Hotel pick up and drop off are available within Yogyakarta Region or in radius 20 KM from city centre
- Hotel pick up and drop off from outside Yogyakarta Region are considered as additional service
- Airport Pick Up or drop off (Yogyakarta Airport) is considered as an additional service.
- You may stop for meals; suggestion a local food that you might try. The meals expenses are not included on the tour.
Cancellation policy
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
